DIDEAROT Workshop on HPC for modelling and simulation of composite materials in the aeronautical sector

On November 16th 2025, at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, the DIDEAROT project brought together experts, researchers, and aerospace professionals.

This workshop highlighted the latest developments on digital methodologies for the design of composite aircraft structures and the role of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in advancing the field.

During the posters session from DIDEAROT partners, our colleague David Dumas - Senior Research Engineer & Theme Leader High Performance Composites - presented  “HPC-driven multiscale machine learning approaches for industrial-scale simulation of composite manufacturing process.”

The next DIDEAROT workshop will focus on transferring these methodologies to industrial applications - ensuring that the research outcomes become directly usable for certification processes.

If you are interested in shaping the aviation industry of tomorrow - lighter, more efficient, and increasingly certifiable through simulation - we invite you to connect with DIDEAROT and Cenaero!
